CUSTOMER SERVICE

We’re open 7 days per week and offer delivery locally and across the UK every day - this is a tall order for an independent single site shop; however, Gardenia has always been a small business with big ideas. We’ll bend over backwards, forwards, sideways and upside down to help. You can call us, email us, instagram us, send a pigeon and/or smoke signals or visit us in store, whichever is best for you. We don’t have a 24 hour call desk, so if you contact us outside our usual opening hours we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

We’re human. Every now and then honest mistakes may happen. We will always do our best to put things right. We’ll be kind and compassionate, and simply ask that our customers do the same.

OUR TEAM

Our talented, skilled, and experienced florists work incredibly hard and are employed on permanent contracts with well-earned salaries, paid annual leave, and a contributory pension - reflecting our commitment to fair, responsible employment.

We believe in a positive team spirit and looking after one another. We’re powered by our coffee machine, motivated by ice cream and we love a birthday. When we have a bad day, there’s always someone ready to lift the mood with a sweet treat, a cheesy tune and a silly dance.

GIVING BACK

We work with our local community, schools and charities. We give prize donations, we host school work experience students, we have given talks to schools and we collaborate in seasonal retail opportunities raising money for schools and charities.

INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT

Each year we take on at least one work experience student. We think it’s important that those that are looking for a career in floristry get to see the good, the bad and the ugly sides of our brilliant industry. Being a florist isn’t just about playing with nice flowers, and fully showing what’s involved is a vital tool in encouraging the future generation of florists.
